The diagnostic assessment is the first step in understanding your psychological health and how it affects daily life. The information gathered helps your psychologist develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
We provide evidence-informed psychological care for depression and depressive disorders. This may include evidence-based treatments (EBTs) such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for major depressive disorder.
We provide evidence-informed care for individuals facing ongoing work and personal stressors. Treatment may focus on strengthening coping skills, preventing burnout, and improving daily functioning.
A receipt will be provided for your records and may be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement, where applicable.
Since 2016, Dr. Robinson has acquired extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, including psychiatric outpatient hospital services and general mental health services within the Canadian Armed Forces.
His practice is focused on the assessment and treatment of depressive and stress-related disorders.

Depressive disorders are mental health conditions that involve persistent low mood, loss of interest or pleasure, and changes in sleep, energy, concentration, or appetite that interfere with daily life. They are common and treatable, and many people improve with evidence-based treatments such as psychotherapy, medication, or a combination of both.

Ottawa and the National Capital Region (NCR) are served by hospital-based mental health programs at The Ottawa Hospital, The Royal, and Hôpital Montfort, providing assessment, crisis care, and specialized psychiatric services.

The Royal offers many programs and clinics that treat a wide variety of mental illnesses. Each program or service has its own criteria around eligibility and who can make the referral on behalf of an individual.

The goal of the mental health clinics is to help patients improve their mental health so that they can better function and reintegrate into their community.
Services offered in French

TOH provides a range of hospital-based services at the Civic & General campuses and they offer a number of highly specialized community-based services that complement the hospital-based services.
Kingston and surrounding areas, along with Leeds and Grenville (Brockville area), are served by hospital-based mental health programs at KHSC and Brockville General Hospital, providing assessment, crisis care, and psychiatric treatment.

Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) provides hospital and clinic care to adults, children and teens who need help with their mental health challenges.

Brockville General Hospital (BGH) provides hospital‑based care for adults who need help with mental health challenges, including crisis intervention and short‑term treatment.
Cornwall, Winchester, Alexandria, and Hawkesbury are served by hospital-based mental health programs at Cornwall Community Hospital, providing assessment, crisis care, and psychiatric treatment.

Cornwall Hospital is the region’s only schedule one psychiatric facility, providing a full range of mental health and addiction services, from acute inpatient care in its modern 16-bed unit, to innovative outpatient and community programs in its recently constructed Community Addiction and Mental Health Centre.
